At worst, maybe at least the thumbnails still remain. But I've seen weird "Schrodinger's files" where they seem both corrupted and not, depending on how you view/extract them. There may very well be nothing they can do. I agree that the OP has only jpegs, so not the same situation. My photos were non-critical, so what I did in the end was to screenshot the view in the RAW editor poor resolution but better than not having it at all. I had a card go bad and my RAW editor could open the files just fine, but was unable to crunch them into jpegs - the jpeg results were much the same as the OP's. ![]() There's nothing to recover, these files look like they were corrupted during writing either by the micro sd card or by the camera itself.įor future reference, i would avoid using micro sd card adapters of that's what OP is using, the memory cards themselves and the adapters are not great for photography, SD and other formats used without adapters are way more reliable.
